Excellent! All three DAFs in the ring. And how was Boris received by Joe Public? I sooo wanted to go to Henblas, I'm afraid life got in the way Joe. Still, there's always next year.

Nice selection Paul. I especially like the early Unimog.

Well, for next year we found out the camping details - it's free to exhibitors so no excuse next time

This time it didn't work for me Joe for a couple of reasons but primarily childcare. For me to drive such a distance in Gavina I'd need a long weekend. That's not really a problem as I can take annual leave from work. BUT, Grinder Jnr is school age and Mrs G leaves for work too early to drop him off, that's my job. AND, being a teacher Mrs G is not allowed to take extraneous days off unless for a very good reason. Regretfully 'Hubby going on a jolly' is not one of them. As Mrs G is leaving the profession at the end of the summer term this hopefully will not be a problem going forwards (unless she goes into 'supply teaching' that is...). Otherwise I would have quite happily attended and found a nice little B&B (I don't think my tent will survive another camping trip and neither would its occupant).

It's a good five hours in a modern car Rich so Gavina would need a bit longer. Factor in at least one fuel and oil stop and if Matt came too the tea breaks that means a good 7 hours. Pretty much meant leaving Friday night, getting there early, attending the show, sleeping then up for the show then driving back home to arrive knackered at silly o'clock to get up early for work the next morning. That's too much for me, I must be getting old.
