Nick, anyone can Google. Even me.
Where's the real measurements taken from the real product?
and what are those numbers on the bottom flange of the rubber?

numbers around the bottom of the rubber are... as follows 5x000-4 and then some weird little symbols that look like those old date code things you used to find on batteries.. actual real world measurements of it unstressed straight out the box are as follows... diameter of driveshaft hole 22mm height 71mm big hole 50mm material thickness on the lip 4mm ok ??

For Butterscotch and Sarge I purchased sets designed for BMW 300 and 500 series as well as VW (EMPI part # 86-2199) they are 22x75x52 and fit perfectly on the 46 and 66. Matter of fact I just ordered a set of 4 (with grease and clamps) this morning for $52.00 with free shipping from California for my 66-YA...same set I installed on the 46 three years ago. Quick hint Nick...DO NOT reuse the old bolts (they are a royal pain) I used metric 10,9 grade hex bolts when I did mine. and your First Line part number crosses directly to the EMPI number I use. all my bolts have been out already mate, had no problems with them, I took the shafts off when I changed the gearboxes to keep them out the way, used an air ratched and a snap-on hex-bal end socket, no slip and jobs a goodun mine were 5 quid each by the way.. what that is in american monopoly money I have no idea though

;D ;D 5p (that's P for "play money" ) equals about $ 8.00 in monopoly money so you got a decent deal. (for 4= $32.00 & I paid $ 54.00) but they are Poly not Rubber so they will not disintigrade so I should never have to replace them ever again. Very surprised your bolts came out easily Nick. I had to use Vice-Grip pliers on quite a few of mine...I won't have THAT problem again, at least on Butterscotch. John
