Not until you have packed all those watch batteries Joe. I have a big bag full of Mrs G's watches all with dead batteries...

You don't need to walk to drive to Essex. In fact, we'll be passing sometime early afternoon tomorrow - we can always strap a seat to the roof bars for you Watch batteries, a Favre Leuba and a little Russian thing all packed and ready, Pete. I'll only have a couple of most battery sizes with me because of packiing constraints but should have most evenualities covered

Dunno what the weight limit on a Pug 405 is but I don't think we pass any checkpoints on the way down!

Dunno what the weight limit on a Pug 405 is but I don't think we pass any checkpoints on the way down! hmmm I hope I don't either I may be all legal for towing now but something tells me if I pass a checkpoint they'll pull me in to check everything. Especially as i'm towing a nearly new twin axle tilt bed car transporter with a commercial vehicle. Being under 25 as well I must say I would pull me if I was a cop to check everything was above board. I'm also trying to work out the best way to go. I need to avoid London proper as my truck is not LEZ complaint and I also want to avoid the severn bridge because they'll charge me £19.50 toll because of what i'm driving, if I was towing with a car and not a pickup it would £5!
