Well, a couple of years ago Joe limped in on one-wheel drive and swapped a broken driveshaft on arrival. Two years ago Ken arrived in his 33 with a knackered clutch and we pulled his engine and changed the clutch shoes. It all happens down here at the ED weekender!

The driveshaft was 3 years ago, Pete. 2 years was Tilly's brake failure at Birmingham followed by the M6 / A14 / M11 on handbrake and anticipation

Ah yes....memories!
It certainly would be nice to take my bi-annual trip to Essex...we will see how it goes.

Ozziy..you have plenty of time to save for the garage and a trip to ED5 in August,while sorting Isabelle ...that's why we post so early John..we are hoping you can make ED5,at least you can meet Lou (Dave) and keep the routine going

Well im cheating if all goes to plan im going in comfort and "reliability*" with Sophie on a trailer behind the Landy.
* Possibly several breakdowns and stress as I am towing with a fairly elderly british car.

Ok I am all fired up must get cracking with her. Will insure her next week then. Spunky can I call you re her front dampers. Were the shim packs ever found or is it af a different design is this what there is so much wobble and oil leak

Incidentally, Tilly didn't just arrive with her engine held up with paracord, she also left with it like that and remained that way until just before her next MOT in May or so. It worked, and changing engine mounts is no fun on these
