A road trip would be the solution. The DCN charges 95,00 euros per side to balance a Vario. Since there are only two machines left it might be worth the effort.

A road trip would be the solution. A whole road trip isn't possible when you live on a island. This is where finding a cheap local alternative to the problem or start throwing money at things comes into play.

I didn't realise the machines were still out there to do the balancing. Unfortunately as I went way over budget putting Tina back on the road (mainly coz the seller lied and said he'd run the engine briefly when in reality it was seized solid and needed a full rebuild) unless I can find a relatively cheap solution the car will have to stay off the road. Matt has contacted though and said he'll try to help if possible and usually things are fixable given a little time and patience (and cash lol). One things for sure, the budget won't stretch to a trip to Holland.

I take it you have checked these two bits ?? Danny M. in Holland just posted this photo because he is currently having vibration issues with his Variomatic. John

Indeed Sir Richard...just covering all bases (as they say in the States) John I think if I left mine they'd end up like this, they're already on their way.
