Thank you I am chipper realy . As predicated home late and rugged off but I have co retrial cider not frozen but it will do. It was chucking it down cat and dogs when I got home so no investigation into digger issues but I am sure it's just a blown hose but it's under the floor of the cab an I know it's uber complicated and tight there. You have to undo the floor in sections all 13 mm bolts and then locate the pipe ther are hundreds as all the controler go there from the joy sticks ooohhh er missis that's 4 actions on each so 8 pipes on each but they are quite straight forward each one goeS to a valve and join on to a comon block it's the levers which do the drive that worry me as I think this is where it blew I think left drive motor now this is the worry as all the other pipes stay in the cab the drive motors are mounted in the tracks like wheels but here is the rub the pipes x 4 left forward, left backward and right forward and right backward all go through the levers on the floor but then a pressure relief valve and then the scary one swivels to the undercarriage. I hope it's not one of those gone. Any way it's a take it to bits slowly and work out how it goes job then get a hose made hopefully on sat morning. Fit it and yippee finish off the moving of rubble I don't know where to and tidy up then whacker it all down. I bet the whacker won't run properly it's just my luck. We will see. Do you want picks and description of how I fix it or not it's up to you?

Ok I will do when I rip it apart tomorrow night. The fault developed as a funny smell like a moist burning after a little gurgling noise. Which I think was air being sucked into the system through the split hose then the smell was followed by a cloud which I think is pressurised oil being squirted under very high pressure through the split forming a mist and causing the smell. When I operate the lever the other way. That's my theory and diagnosis without any investigation we shall see as I have not worked on diggers much. Err engine re build and bucket ram rebuild 4 hoses bashed and split . Injection pump rebuild. Steep learning curve or what.

SOz for the delay but I wrote it all out and then promptly closed the page and lost it all. So boo any way busy bee me. The digger repair was horrid it's all mud and oil and one you open it up 10 litres of oil fell out over night all over the floor it took best part of the day to clear it up. Hydraulic oil is horrid stuff. Any way here are some pics of the snakes wedding of hydraulic hoses. sorry it was dark when I took it. and another Now then can you guess which hose it was. Well remember it was a solid muddy go under the floor when I opened it up it took an hour of pressurie washing to blast it all Way and it's horrid oily mud. Any way wich hose is the split one any guesses

Here ar a few clues taken in the day. note the hos over the bottom edge all bubbly wher the inner hose failed and the outer skin blistered with hydraulic oil. It looks like it was burned but when you subjected it to pressure it went stiff the end un done .sorry it's a bit blurred I was so excited I found it . It's the second tail on the left top row you can just make out the shines from the threads. Just to the left of the bolt tab to hold the floor down. the other end is harder to get at and it took me a while to find a way of undoing it when I did. It was far down under the snakes wedding. But when you undo and move slightly about 10 hoses you can get to it its the top right had side but very tight and not even a crow foot 22mm spanner touched it. I tried about 6open ended spanner with other spanner across the other end to twist. I even cut a slot In a old box spanner to slip over the pipe but no way in the end I just got it with a ground down spanner. The new hose has a19 mm head so it's got a bit more clearance now. now tell me that engine bay it tight for space on your 55 he he he!!!!!!

Any way fix and a bit of rubble delivered The neighbours love me they do I can tell the way they look at me when we pass. Presume it's love as they don't speek to me any more We soon get to work though berty Doug and isabell It soon looked a small pile.i ordered 16 tonnes but I think 20 turned up. I know it looks like rubbish but it's actually an engineered material. Seven different grades of crushed stuff is mixed to gether.nwhen it's vibrated the dust fallers into the gaps and locks it all together to form a solid base like a biscuit. Any way her is a not her shot see issabell is helping. i58.photobucket.com/albums/g278/uselescrapytwit/05868afa4921a5b7d7655ccd885e1613_zps2f11e965.jpgwel getting in the way really. Typical woman interfering in mans work.

Mor work this weekend again sorry for not being on here but I an having a crash course on building regs and building best practices. My piles are still high but I have a floor well almost I put the 6fc2 (crushed building rubbish to you and me) into my hole and vibrated it a bit with Vabina the whacker plate but just could not get it right as it kept spilling away so a different plan was needed. I have laid a few blocks to give me an edge. The blocks once filled with. Concrete will give me an edge ans something to measure against. The blocks represent the level of the floor and the concrete will be poured in and levelled to it. q its taken ages to engineer this the foundations drain to the phone box and the floor level slopes to the front side next to the hedge so water round away from the garage and out of the door if it ever floods or I want to pressure wash in it. The drain will run around the building and there will be an aco drain at the front.
