As some of you may know, my father died at the end of February He has to take the blame on starting me off on DAFs! He drove a DAF 33 until it shed a clutch shoe in 2004/2005 - it has been off the road since then sat with its engine out. We did try and get it sorted for his funeral but there was too much to do - but we did have a stand-in vehicle! Anyway, this is she after getting the engine back in. And now she's back in and still runs well and drives perfectly apart from slightly soggy brakes. Remarkable really.....now she just needs cleaning up. Look out for her soon as she should be MOTd next week! She's still in dire need of a good clean but she's still in lovely original condition....

Pictures of my other DAFs to follow as progress is made.....including a lovely 44, a 66 Coupe, and a cracking pair of 32s!

Well done Howard.
Glad to see Dad's 33 alive and well...so many memories. My Grandfather also had a very low mileage blue 33 (1972 vintage) which disappeared after his funeral.Never did find out what happened to it. Sad.

As you may know I owned Isabel once. I picked her up from Lytham St. Annes near Blackpool. I may well still have copies of the V5 etc which might give us clues about previous owners! Memories indeed!
