Top of the afternoon to you! I was looking for some inspiration to start work on the van at some point and found a nice film called "World Safari" Probably best if you find a couple of hours to spare and watch the whole thing, but if you're time poor you can drop in just before the hour mark as that's when the DAF action begins. Enjoy!

I did enjoy that. Bought for $200 and then DAF gave them $10,000. They didn't even realise until they had to fix a leaf spring that it was belt driven...

Never mind the roof collapsing under the weight of everything, or the body flexing enough to pop the windscreen, I would have thought the rear swing arms might have fell apart Mind those land mines!

Six weeks to get a wheel bearing? They should have e-mailed us, we'd have got it there quicker! Ah, erm, 'e-mail'...I'll get my hat and coat then...

Afternoon all, I hope you're all well. I was looking for something the other day when, as you do, stumble across something else. You may remember (or not) in the film, they got the DAF to Eindhoven, as pictured here: The impression I got from the film was that they sold it to DAF and it was in a museum. Now what pops up for sale the other month (now sold) in Queensland, Australia? Looks like the same car, down to the windscreen hanging out...
