How much P&P are you paying? Is the sale subject to VAT? What was the real dollar cost based on PayPal's exchange rate?

What was the real dollar cost based on PayPal's exchange rate? ;D P&P = ?? unknown yet VAT= New parts are not subject to VAT if shipped outside the EU That was the actual Dollar amount based on the rate. (came out to 17.00 P for the two kits) John

£8.50 is the price including VAT@20% in the listing. If you really aren't charged VAT then the price should be £7.08 each. As has been mentioned before, VAT should be waived on exports, but in practice is only waived if the seller does the relevant paperwork. Anyway, I hope the postage is below cost, as you could of had two kits posted for £19.30 if you hadn't been quite so impatient and looked further than the bay of flea For those outside the EU - www.tomsmithparts.com/

Right, if John isn't going to correct the start of his first post on this page post above (I've asked him nicely to correct two inaccurate posts, but he's only edited the last one), I'll do it myself. (My beef is that the comments made about one ebay seller could be incorrectly read as referring to another seller.) I would like to make it clear that Ebay seller tractorpartsuk (R.C.Boreham & Co of Chelmsford, Essex) is NOT the same seller as cjsparesltd (C.J. Spares Ltd of Norwich, Norfolk) and that any grievance that John has is with cjsparesltd. If anyone has bought one (or more) of these kits, please do say who you bought it from and what your experience was - both good and bad. I don't think we have too much of an issue with naming and shaming round here, but do correctly name them.

Tractorparts UK for Snowdrop's kit and no problems with the vendor.
