lol you lot are mad as hatters...
well today I made good on my promise and arrived at Essex dafs just in time to find a smiling Matt waiting by the gate (after directing me in as I got hopelessly lost somewhere nearby) deals were done and lots and lots of Essex Tea were consumed, I then helped Matt squash one of his fingers with a selection of transmissions and I finally came away with a complete 46 transmission rather than just the primary as it seemed to make more sense to change both. Also got my fabulous Essex Daf cup now so thats me sorted ! ! !
thanks for everything Matt !! ! hope the finger heals speak to you soon !

Glad you enjoyed your visit Nick. Sorry I couldn't be there as I had a 3 year old's birthday party to attend. Still, am pleased we were able to supply the parts that you need for Reenie - not to forget the ED visitor's mug of course!

oh yes.. rest assured the cup is getting some serious usage.. (as did a few garage services on the way home) Matt just told me he had forgot to take a pic of me with my goodies.. so will sort that in a bit. was a nice spot you guys got there, and the weather couldn't have been any better for the trip.. in my next post on Reenies thread I hope to have a video of her moving under her own steam

Always good feedback to hear our visitors need a few rest stops on the way home - it means we didn't sell you short on the tea front. Will look forward to seeing Reenie moving under her own abilities. MOT one step closer!

well had a chance after work this evening to make a start.. must say its not fun trying to undo those allen bolts on the halfshafts at all they did eventually all play the game and undo but by then the rain was coming down enough to run off the car cover and into my "central leg area" and it was getting uncomfortable. Just the two 17mm bolts on the rear cross-support-rubber mounted-arm-brace thing to undo tomorrow and shes out...

Good to see things progressing, Nick. I must admit, I'm not really looking forward to getting to grips with Boris' vario. It may be better balanced than yours but it's a MUCH more confusing looking set-up than the 33s that I've grown to love these past few years!
