I've unlocked this thread again because apparently Matt couldn't post, despite being a moderator, and I can't be bothered to work out why ;D Please try to keep posts to sales results only on here and start another thread if you want to discuss any of the sales posted. Thanks

OK, the latest to sell on eBay was a Volvo 66 saloon, registration KFB820P, in a nice shade of yellow. It had tax and MOT.
The vendor says the interior was great, body sound and had recent new head gasket and new hoses, lots of welding done and waxoiled.
On the down side, it was weeping oil from the crank pullies plus the primaries and secondaries and may need new belts. A spare vario was included in the sale. Also more welding was required plus the body had some dents and rust to sort.
Notwithstanding this the vendor maintained it was a good driver.
Sold for £525.15

Probably need a few more in to make a fair update to The Guide, Matt, but it does look like Cat 3 / project prices may be heading in the right direction...

Daf prices are now creeping above some of the similar size cars such as Triumph, Morris etc. Ford prices are now stupid, especially parts. A set of used Mk3 Escort mats sold on ebay for over £200 The Stondon auction shocked me on a couple of results, the Rapier in particular (prob. the only non CVT I would buy) reached less than 2K. I would have had that in a flash with hindsight.

From what I can see in my short time of DAF ownership, the cars are very reasonably priced which is why I took a punt on buying my station wagon recently. I think these cars are underrated in my view and I am enjoying myself in recommissioning my 66 and learning about it eccentricites.
It might be good to see an updated Price List?
