I am interested in another specialist forum with total vehicle numbers not too different to our DAFs (rarity) This is what they do, to try and keep up to date on values. Possibly we could do the same and record every sale we see? www.defender50th.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=3044

I think that would be good. I would be happy to add mine to the list as it was bought recently.

Time to get this tread up and running again..
As a few Dafs have been finding new homes,it might help us all to keep on top of prices and when possible list the sale prices..
With recent sales of 2 Volvo 66 estates making good money,a solid 1 making £1250 and a rotten 1 making £510,clearly all Dafs have risen in price again more recently.. If anybody can remember any other sales, please post them here..
To make it more interesting,I'm happy for all Dafs and vario Volvo's plus older commercial vehicles to be listed here..it's been nearly 3.5 years since this thread has seen any action, hopefully we can get it going again..
Today I watched a 1956 Daf YA 126 military vehicle sell on eBay..it needed plenty of work and had a non standard but more reliable engine fitted..and included a trailer for it to be ferried around on..
This all sold for £2200..sounds like a bargain to me..
Of course it won't be updated regularly, not enough Dafs about but in time hopefully we will have a guide which we can refer to..

Recent e.bay listing of a 55 saloon in brown being discovered after 24 years..and as the advert said,in running order 😞..advertised at £2000 and not getting any bids, indicates that even a rare Daf shows how cheap these lovely cars are..
Yes an over priced starting bid, this should have started at £500 and let the market decide on what she was worth..
As i have a few 55's..😏..I'm keen to see the prices..of which I consider to be the best Daf made..😉..indicate what these cars are worth in today's market..
As some of you know,me parting with a 55 is like having a major body part removed..it doesn't happen..unless it is a case of life and death..it's as simple as that..
55's don't come to market very often..but when they do,they normally sell,as they are so rare..let's hope this 1 gets relisted and finds a new caring home..soon..
Any thoughts! !!!!.

A couple of recent results..
The 33 on e.bay which was a full restro sold for £310..
And on Facebook,a 55 coupe which has been around a few years as a stripped rolling shell and still needing a full restro sold very quickly..advertised at £750..
