hmm Ken, you appear to be on the ball this evening....
I had fitted it the wrong way round in the adjuster and when I wound it out it had simply dived into the depths of the adjuster out of sight.. when I wound the adjuster back out to refit the "new made one" and the original old one it was suddenly there... confused doesnt cover it...
a real WTF moment

I bet that really was a WTF moment. With me it is usually about things that were at hand going suddenly missing never to be seen again. The amount of 10mm spanners I have bought over the years is simply amazing.
