all but 1 brake adjuster on the front of frankendaf work, the last one refuses to budge at all and of course its the one behind the casting the strut goes on. Even tried turning it from the snail side and it turns on the peg. Woul dI be able to weld it to the peg and hope the heat will help free it? if not im looking for a new backplate for the NS grrrrrrr

I assume you've tried soaking it in the proverbial WD40? Spray and leave, spray and leave etc. etc. etc. until it eventually moves. It will......... eventually.
Without suggesting you ability to suck eggs is impaired, make sure the tool you're using is a perfect fit on the adjuster; if it's slightly off you'll damage it, possibly permanently.

Heat will almost certainly free it but welding it may not be a great idea - blowtorch would be better if possible.

thing is the pressed steel bit is rotating on the axis as I tried to move it from the shoe side so its going to need something to lock it to the square if you see what I mean

Grind them off, bin, and get a replacement set of adjusters. No need to cock around with replacing entire back plates. Something like this (although there are a few different kits, get the right one ): www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251008445101What we need is less chat and more PICS! My mind thinks that a Moprod MPK 3 is what you might be looking for, but I want a pic of both sides with a measuring stick for reference before I commit.
