Well, theres no hard and fast rule when it comes to mirrors Nick. I believe the only model to come supplied with wing/door mirrors was the 33 van. Many would have been fitted aftermarket and no two are alike. I believe there is a brand called 'spitfire' (no, not the car). I can ask Matt whether he has any mirrors but your best bet is to measure the hole spaces you have drilled in the doors and find a nice pair to fit from a classic car accessories dealer.

I have a set of the 3" 'peep' mirrors fitted to Goldie. I think they look pretty retro. That is just my opinion though lol+++++.

All depends on where you live Nick... Most Europeans and Americans opted for Mirrors on the doors while in the UK wing mirrors are prefered. God only knows why? Yes, Pete is correct. All outside mirrors were an accessory and can be placed anywhere. John

I believe there is a brand called 'spitfire' (no, not the car). You believe (sort of) right there Pete. They are a model/type of DAF branded mirror, manufactured for DAF by GECO. dscf0107 by macplaxton, on Flickr (If you look closely on the original resolution picture, you can see the DAF branding) Later cars have ball 'n' socket base plates mirrors (like this 46 that Super Hans is admiring ;D): Dom's van 001 by macplaxton, on Flickr (Again, if you pull up the jumbo original view, you'll see what I mean. This type was also available in black.) The majority of B-bodied cars have door mirrors fitted. Thinking about it, it's the way to go as fitting "wing" mirrors means sticking a couple of holes in the bonnet, rather than the wing, so you don't have a free hand on where you put them as you have to leave the relevant clearance for the springback mechanism...Not saying it can't or shouldn't be done, but it certainly looks less neat and a bigger pain in the arse to adjust comparing to just winding the window down. Dilly had one DAF Spitfire type and one (circa MY79-MY83) Volvo 300 series type when I got her: P3130092 by macplaxton, on Flickr So without drilling any more holes, I got a pair of these instead: Dilly's door mirror 002 by macplaxton, on Flickr Spot on hole spacing
