Welcome! Sorry, that one went a little while ago. I've got a 66 saloon that is coming up for sale if that's of interest? hiya ooo your trying to mess with my head.... a 66 is to big and posh for me i am looking for a 33 or older small and basic. in an ideal world a buy now car would be a pri 72 runner with mot or if there is time ie next year any amount of rot box would do. i dont mind a challenge but i do prefure almost a compleate car in saying that i dont mind boxed bits or cars. i have already saved up some air for the tires, and some water for the washer bottle so i am on my way to having that 33 daffodile 31 32 750 or what ever. what you got for a keen newby. i promis not to butcher it and made a hot rod from it unless its so rough it needs to be put on a homemade chassis and its just a shell.

Even a 33 is sometimes hard to find in the UK...DAF was not popular until the 55 models (with the 1100cc boilers) came over. But 750, 31 and 32 models are as scarse as Hen's teeth (Sorry Farmer George). But...here is wishing you luck in your 2 cylinder search. John

if its the two cylinder engine you want don't discount the 44 and 46. They are substantially more spacious but still very small and are powered by a longer stroke more powerfull 844cc version of the DAF twin. A 44 has no more luxury than a 33 in all honesty not even a glovebox cover.
If your anywhere near me you'd be welcome to come and try mine out just can't go on the road as currently the only way of stopping is the handbrake. ;D

or buy a 55 or 66 although technically a 4 pot engine head gasket failure soon makes them 2 cylinder... (joke in bad taste)
