Controlledparking zones. Am not against them in principle, however, the parking issue in my road only impacts after 6:30pm when everyone who works then returns home. So a CPZ is of no use to me whatsoever. The council love these things co they generate income +++. I might have to pay £180 per classic car that I have parked on the road. Sadly maybe time for a rethink

That is bad news Ken. Perhaps you can find a barn somewhere for storing cars? It may end up cheaper in the ling run, not to mention more secure?

This is almost as bad as the offside parking regulations enforced here in the larger cities. It literally forces homeowners to move their vehicles every 4 hours to avoid a hefty parking fine. These laws get even worse during the Winter when a NO PARKING ban is enforced on all streets so the ploughs can clear snow. John
