If anyone coming to Lichfield next weekend happens to have a spare throttle cable for a 66 Boris would be very grateful! He decided to snap his without warning yesterday and now has an adapted and lengthened 33 one in its place.
It seems to be working ok for now but not sure how reliable it'll be and seeing as Sian uses him much more than me I'd rather not trust to luck and a cable crimp longer than needed ;D

Let me have a rummage, I'll get back to you in a minute. I have a 3266775 Gaskabel. Which is down as 4#, 55, 66 RHD. I'll do it for £7.50* delivered *or equivalent in DAF/Volvo related favour(s). DSCF5600.JPG by macplaxton, on Flickr DSCF5601.JPG by macplaxton, on Flickr DSCF5602.JPG by macplaxton, on Flickr It's of the order of 610mm between the metal collar inners and about 905mm overall. Let me know ASAP as I'm off to work at 1530 and heading to Belfast so could sling it in the post there.

Looks good, but guess I didn't see the post in time for the Belfast run Any idea when you can get it on its way and what sort of Daf / Ovlov favours could you use right now? ;D

Strangely enough, also had extra drop to city centre. Just posted at Tomb St, Belfast Sorting Office (just over the road from delivery / 3 min walk.) You should have it Tuesday ;D

No problem. Let me know when it lands. I was HERE and if you move the view round to the right, you can see the RM in big letters Favour is looking like this at the mo (but details need to be finalised). Looking at getting 3 sills in your direction. Once you have them, delivery them to me at the port or station when I'm passing probably on 23rd July going back to Dublin on a sailrail. No big deal if it can't be done, just means I'll have to lug them around on the train/for a greater portion of the journey.

Should be no problem with that, Rich, as long as you're not talking stretch Cadillac sills? They may not fit in / on a Daf ;D

That was nice and quick thanks to the USO* Re: bonus buy - I'm a feckin' mindreader**, that's why! *Universal Service Obligation - In short as Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (the clue is in the title ), postal price/service is the same as the rest of the GB mainland. £2.70 Royal Mail 1st Class vs. €4.00 An Post Airmail. Actually I stuck on 5 NVI 1st class stamps that were bought at the old 46p price, so it was even cheaper. **Actually, I was rummaging through the desk drawers looking for a permanent marker pen and came across them and thought I'd chuck in a Brucey Bonus ;D
