Why is it that the most troublesome component of any vintage/classic car that I've owned over the last sixty years has been the windscreen wiper? Becky has thrown a wobbler yet again. Having replaced the plastic bearing pivot next to the motor all seemed well at last but it was too good to be true of course. Yesterday on I switched the device and was greeted by a b****y great bang from behind the dashboard and silent inactivity thereafter. What the heck has happened now?

It appears that one of the linkage arms has made a bid for freedom Marcus. They are not fun to work on since the entire dash panel must be removed...fairly easy, but annoying. The most troublesome for me has has been electrics...especially when trying to rectify other people's bodging. John
