Interestingly, a certain person I know made some discreet enquiries about this car - with some interesting results.....
Dear purplehorse1990,
hello is this the car that sold on ebay a few weeks ago?
No sorry. First time listed.

Dear purplehorse1990,
How come you have removed the number plate?
Removed private plate. Vehicle will go back on age related plate. Hope that satisfies your curiosity

I've just driven out to see it this afternoon (Saturday 15th Sept.) and it's LUURRVVEERRLLY!!!
One would be happy to eat one's pizza off the floor and lick the underside without fear of contracting any strange illnesses. The horn isn't original; The car's been fitted with a motor scooter 6 volt one. The dashboard is lose around the wiper/headlight switch and the headlight switch is upside down. It is an ogirinal 6 volt car, with a new battery and it starts on the button! That aside, I couldn't find a fault!
The bodywork is very good. The only detail problems are a little surface rust on the near-side door, as the front, and some on the near-side front wing. None of this is structural. The tyres are all as good as new (some are Michelins) and all the electrics work. The mileage is 44K and a bit and it sounds SOOO lovely when you start it up. The boot's stuffed with bits, including spare belts!
In short, if you're looking for a Daf 33 and have circa £3K, this IS the car for you!

funnyy i asked those same questions and had a good bit of banter back and forth. he told me it was sold and yet the ad has been relisted loads since. i have droped a new message recently but he wont call me back or message me. i think he wants to hold out on it even tho his mark up is being eaten into it as interest. I would give what he paid for it all day long.

Strangely Purplehorse also bid on our blue Ovlov 66 estate but withdrew his bid after reading the description again and finding that the vario was possibly at fault (it's been removed and is in the boot). He told me he was only interested in the vario. Of course I did tell him that we can supply varios for the 66 and that it was different from that of a 33. I didn't receive a reply.
