Today we had some distinquished visitors at the DCA Museum... Long time member (since 1988) Harold Robertson was so impressed with the facilities that he donated a DAF to us. WOW...WOW...WOWNot just any DAF mind you.... The twin to LLB and stable mate to 'Tilly. ;D ;D ;D ;D Yes, Harold donated a RHD 1966 DAF Daffodil 32 in Akwalo BlueThe DAF had been sitting in the corner of his garage for almost 30 years and as far as can be determined it is 95% complete with very minor rust issues. HOW CAN ONE PERSON GET SO LUCKY ?? ?? ;D ;D ;D ;DI'll have to make arrangements to have it picked up since it it at least 9 driving hours away (roughly 450 miles one way) John

Wow! That must be even rarer over there than they are here, John! "Rare" is not the word for it Joe. ;D Not only is she the only RHD but only 1 of 4 Daffodil 32s in the country (at least known to the club ) This was the last DAF model officially allowed to be imported by the U.S. government. In June, 1967 they banned all further importation. Yes, we do need another name to be drawn out of the hat. ;D John

Akwalo suggests "Wally" ;D - or possibly in honour of his generosity "Harold". my own preference would be for the latter. Well done indeed John.
