its not as straightforward as it seems, a few pieces need to be changeds so thought id make a note of it here for any of you considering such a conversion in the future (cause there are so many 46's out there)
the oil filler neck needs to be changed,
the piece where the distributor sits is narrower on a 46 to accomodate the bracket that holds the alternator
the bracketry for the alternator needs to be swapped for the dynamo bracketry as it is different
and that was it, only ashort list.. but something to bear in mind nether the less

Yes, there are a few slight differences M8. But, at least you have found an 850cc backup for GINA. and that is a major hurtle to overcome. John
