Well, the first ebay sale fell through as the plonker said that his Transit engine had gone boom and he had no money to buy VUF now the Tranny needed sorting. Yeah right, whatever.
VUF has sold again for a slightly higher price this time. The new owner seems to live in Braintree, so if it all doesn't go tits up again, she may well end up as an Essex Daf yet again.
I will update once the deed is done.

Change of plan. John, the new owner to be is hoping to come over tomorrow to pick up VUF and drive her back to Braintree.
I will let John have the board details and I am sure he will pop on to introduce himself.
Nice to see you back Matt, did you have a good break?

C'mon Vermont, keep up Sir! The MGF can now be taxed and insured, some bits obtained here and there and plans can move up a notch for Belgie.
Yes, little VUF left my keeping this evening and is being driven to Braintree as we speak. Her new keeper, a chap by the name of John seems like an ideal new owner and he is keen to pop over to EDC and hopefully will post on here.

Hi folks, have to say that the North circular and M11 in the rain and the dark is not the best place to drive a Daf for the first time. Hitting 20mph, I was fairly sure I was at top speed, but with my foot steady on the pedal we accelerated to 50 and everything became smoother and quieter. I think I could have gone faster and stopped the lorries from passing me and grit blasting VUF, but was too afraid I might strain or overheat something.
