Hi, welcome John! Congratulations on acquiring Vuf, she's a fine little car. DAFs are designed to cruise at maximum speed. Best bet, when you've pulled away is to floor the gas pedal and lift off once the required speed is attained. In horrible conditions such as you describe it's always sound to leave a large gap to the car in front until your mind has accustomed to drum brakes. We're here and ready to advise if there's anything you need to know.

He's already planned, gone and done John. Are you following this? Don't seem to recall any mention of the Belgium project on this thread Rich...just VUF being sold. John

Sorry John, I was on about the MGF business (hinging on VUF sale). He might of mentioned the Belgie, but it might not have been here. I dunno.
