1. Exhaust Sorted
2. Ignition switch. Sorted thanks to Howard.
3. Wheel cylinders sorted.
4. Rear brake shoes sorted
So this is what remains to be sourced.
5. 1 Wheel trim.
6. Window winder again different from later cars.
7. Number plate lamp
8. Bonnet prop
9. Washer pump (she has an electric pump fitted for the time being but I would like her back to original spec at some point) She does not use a squishy bulb like other DAFs its a push switch that looks the same as the other switch gear actuating a squishy bulb. Thats all for now but I am sure I will find more especially when I discover why her vario has siezed.

Re: item # 6...
The chain inside the winder can be taken out and reversed. This should clear up the problem and give years of life to a lifeless bit.
Shoes are no problem, you local factor should have those on the shelf Unipart # GBS-1036 & GBS-1024 ('68-'73 Audi 100 & '67-'75 BMW 1600 & 2002)

John Already done this as well as re greasing the mechanism and it now works smoothly again but that's not what I was asking for it the actual winder handle itself one of mine is broken in half, damage that happened during transit unfortunatly So its the handle itself I need.

I think you will really struggle for parts that are idiosyncratically mk 1 Paul, particularly in the UK. I think we all know your best bet will lie with Danny and if not then DCN. You might want to hook up with Matt Stapper, I hear he is handy at getting parts out of the DCN and by-passing the costly bank transfer charges and membership fees... Certainly for the mechanical parts such as brake cylinders you need the right parts and if there's no interchangeability with other vehicles then the Netherlands will be your best bet. For trim, like your winder handle, it might be best to opt for something else in the meantime to restore functionality until the correct part becomes available. A little frustrating, granted, but it will see the project completed sooner without getting hung up over the smaller details...

I am aware that most parts will probably have to be imported but if felt there would be no harm in putting a parts request list up as people may have them on a shelf.
Because Sophie is such a rare car I feel that she needs to be as close to original spec as possible. I intend to send her purely classics for a respray as the final part of the restoration.
Most of the stuff on the list can wait a while and be sourced as and when funds allow. But there is one thing I feel I need asap and that is an ignition switch. I really can't progress very far without one.

Fair dos Paul. We can look in our pile and you never know we even had a mk1 wheel at one point but its a remote possibility. I went a few weeks without a functioning barrel in Gavina, just needed the plastic bit from the rear and a screwdriver. Was never going to win any concourse competitions but did the job whilst a replacement was sought...

Im currently using an old rocker switch for the ignition and another for the starter
