I'm sorry to hear this Paul. You're right though and family should come first. Lindsey's a good egg-please pass on my regards. She's welcome to come done with you if you like but probably best to book into TOCI if she comes; I would think more comfortable than camping.

I too am sorry to hear of Lindsey's problem. Send my best for a speedy recovery.
As they say..."timing is everything", it's unfortunate that all this has happened at one time though.

John Thanks, she is already saying how much better it feels since the opp. She is just not allowed to use her hand quite yet. The op was to remove a portion of bone from her thumb in order to cure arthritis.

Almost time ;D Trailer's packed, cars are packed and fueled, and the dogs want to go NOW.
And Matilda decided to flash her oil light at me about 20 minutes ago on the way to the petrol station at about 15mph. Plenty of oil in her, no (extra) funny noises, and she only did it once. So I'm putting it down to a gremlin.

Gladys did that too me Joe. The spade terminal on the pressure sender was a sloppy fit and came off. It then touched the engine block and flashed the light. Easy to see and fix so well worth checking that Tilly hasn't done the same

Already checked that, Paul. Wire is right where it's supposed to be. Not too worried - it's just something else to find an explanation for sometime

Excellent Joe! I hope Betty is ready too? Gavina is sulking as she knows she is due to get a good spannering! Gavina did that with the oil light but that was because she'd shaken off her filler cap and spread her oil out into the engine bay. I'm hoping to get a half day leave tomorrow. No promises as it's a busy day at work but if I can swing it I'll be making a trip to Central to get my tent pitched. Hopefully see you both tomorrow and safe trip down. Oh, and Harvey looking forward to meeting your dogs.

Well, the weekender has started already! I took a trip over to Central where Lewis was busy setting up the caravan. Joe and Sian arrived a short while later and we are all pitched up and ready. Matilda did suffer slightly from her journey down and Gavina struggled to make it over from Essex South until tuningmeister Mr Monkey got his strobe gun out and she is now feeling much better! Roll on tomorrow!

could you pick up a piece of birch on the way over Pete? I could only find oak around here and that's FAR too good for Matilda right now!
