Update: You lot can't imagine the fun you're missing and we're not going to tell you Yeah, ditto what he just said! Besides, if you'd attended then you wouldn't need an update! Glad you enjoyed yourself Graham and lovely to see you and your very well behaved kids. Update to follow soon-ish people.

Still no proper update because I'm on a dodgy signal sitting in a field and anyway I'm too damn tired to type much.
But I can say that the passion wagon has a rear quarter again, Pooh starts and drives reliably but still only has half a front wing, and Priscilla has 4 working spark plugs. She also has a slight leak from the plate at the back of her head because we didn't notice till it was on that one of the bolts had been sheared. But it's nothing that a tin of K Seal won't cure and she's driveable again. Oh, she also needs some antifreeze!

Result, thanks Joe. Antifreeze on its way at the weekend. I will post the update soon, needed to spend time with Mrs G on Monday and now back to the grind, still travelling home from work

Well I got back last night after a marathon trip. I left the EDC on Sunday afternoon and stopped off at my Grandparents in Bucks, I stayed an extra day there because of the weather and a desire to avoid the bank holiday traffic so left at 10am yesterday for what should have been a 4 1/2 hour drive. Only it wasn't! I have never had such a bad journey, 3 accidents, a fallen tree, diesel on the road made for a hairy moment of thinking I wasn't going to stop in time. Thankfully i'd left a rather large gap and was going slow so was able to pull up in time. To add to that an incident of misbehaving trailer (Jockey wheel spring broke causing the handle to spin and the wheel to touch the road.) , meant I didn't get home until 7pm last night!
Yep im well and truly knackered now, but I wouldn't have missed the event for the world. Truck behaved perfectly as well and even returned a fairly respectable 27mpg over 727 miles the majority of which towing.

Well done Paul, that truck and trailer combo certainly came in handy. Glad you made it home ok.

Shoulda bought a Pug. Just under 8 hours (320 miles), including a Maccy D break at Cambridge and 2 other leg stretches, average 51.93mpg over the first 560 miles We're back, btw, just enjoying a glass of Farmer George's sloe gin before bed
