As most of you have seen (elsewhere)....I have announced the GRAND OPENING of the DCA / DAF Museum & Research Center in Vermont. This is exciting stuff folks, since this will he first official DAF collection to be made public outside Holland and it promises to be a great exhibit. The official opening is scheduled for the weekend of 20 & 21, August and announcements have been sent out. ;D I even have a Facebook group established for Museum news: www.facebook.com/home.php?ref=home#!/home.php?sk=group_220229694665057...check it out, if you have Facebook. I am trying to finish off as much as possible before the opening date...but it will not be 100%, but close. John

Well, from what I've seen of the museum it looks very much ready John and anything else you do will just serve to embellish it further. Best of luck with this new venture John, you deserve every success from all of the hard effort you've put in.

It all went very well during the weekend.... Banners, signs, Baloons & "Polar Bear" to attract some attention. Three DCA members were around to help out. Vince (center) drove 3 hours from New York and Bob (Right) drove for 5 hours from Maine. The club provided plenty of Food & Drinks to keep everyone happy. One of our visitors really liked the 66-YA...I had to keep my eye on him to make sure he did not drive off with it. A contingent from the Morris Minor Club stopped in to wish us well...they loved the 600. ;D The Guest sign-in book filled up fairly quickly and everyone had nothing but praises to write. A group of boys from the local vintage Military Jeep Club came by as well. The weather Saturday was perfect but I ended up closing early on Sunday due to heavy rain. All in all it was a successful Grand Opening (although not a single member of the Press showed up) John
