Sadly, owing to both space restrictions and the fact I now have a mortgage, I have to get rid of some of my vehicles.....including my lovely DAF 44. It's been sorted to MOT standard and has lots of new parts. Apart from a mildly crumpled front wing it is in excellent original condition, both inside and out. I've no idea how much to expect for it but I will gladly sell with an MOT (but arguably no point in selling it with tax!). If anyone is interested, do please ask. She's very dusty at the moment but I'll clean her for up to date photos, but just to give you some ideas.... She's done 23,000 miles I believe - has new exhaust, brakes (including master cylinder). Also up for grabs are a 1994 Chevrolet Camaro, a 1991 Saab 9000 Carlsson, and possibly the old Saab 99 Combi Coupe..... I'm based in Bristol, but can help with transport.

I know Nick, but something has to give - I need to close down the big workshop as soon as possible!

That looks absolutely wonderful, I wish this had come up at the start if the year. What do you mean by crumpled wing please Howard? Any pictures of the damage?

It is quite hard to see - and certainly nothing major. It looks like it was caused by too much leaning in! There is no impact damage so it shouldn't take too much to sort it out.....it's the driver's side wing.

Would it not be worth getting a PDR guy to massage that ding out prior to selling?

Maybe, but time is somewhat against me. Hoping to get it MOTd though but I'm sure there won't be any problems as there are lots of new parts fitted and it drives absolutely fine. We'll also have to sort out a certain Volvo, Rich!

Certainly do there Howard. How is the MOT man these days? It's the only real obstacle (which isn't really an obstacle in the "taking it to" or "taking it from" a pre-arranged test sort of concession). It's still insured. Tax can be had in easy monthly payments. I'll check the calendar for a 24hr-ish window. All it needs to be capable of is c. 300 miles to Carlisle DC I guess. (Drive at LDC is a bit full and lockup in GDC has a BX in it)

Er and I haven't forgot about those CV joints. I just haven't been near them recently.
