Well done Vince! I knew the axle/chain drive rear wheels would give the game away. I don't have a picture of the car - I'll ask my bro if he has one. Last summer he was looking for a two-wheeler. Given that he was 44, I concluded that it must have been the mid-life crisis kicking in He hasn't had a bike since the mid-1990s when he briefly had a Honda H100S-II when he lived in Edinburgh. Then he had his first (minor) spill and gave up! Anyway, he picked up a brand new Honda: image_cub2 by macplaxton, on Flickr A Honda Little Cub C50! (I'm still taking the piss out of it ) Initially he was parking it here: image_cub1 by macplaxton, on Flickr Jap price equivalent to 935 GBP. Inc 3 years of road tax and a year's insurance. 2 year warranty. No MOT required in Japan. Which is dirt cheap as when I last saw the Cub 90 on the UK Honda pricelist back in the late 1990s it was 1695/1795 GBP (kickstart/electric start). I don't think they've been officially imported into the UK for well over 10 years now. EU licensing laws don't make it worth their while. Back to the car. He was down his Honda guy in Osaka (who is some really, really, old guy near his apartment) getting his Cub 50 its 3k km service done and he saw it up on the ramps. Apparently it belongs to the owner of the workshop.

I at first saw the first photo (they were both posted when I saw it) and I was like that's small and those headers are definitely sporty. I didn't think Jap right away but when I saw the chain drive I knew it!
