Hi,
I'm looking for a decent chrome headlight surround for a 44 and wondered if anyone had one in reasonable condition available?
cheers, John

We should be able to help with this, perhaps Matt can have a look when he is next at the barn on Sunday.

A surround for a 44, 46 or 55 would do nicely. They are all the same bit.
If (as Matt stated) you cannot find one in the UK Danny at DAFHobby would be your best bet for a quality used one.

Am sorry John, I didn't know we were also in need of decent examples. There is so much stock in our spares barn it is hard to keep track of just what we have!

Many thanks for the advice all, I've contacted Danny and hopefully I can bag a new pair. On the Daf Hobby website it refers to them as 1st type - would these be good for a '71 example 44?
Cheers,
John

Indeed John. They will be fine on your DAF.

Bad news guys, Danny says that they won't fit and he has none in stock! So a fresh appeal for anybody that had a spare knocking around in non pitted condition. It's a tall order but I thought I'd put out there!
Cheers,
John
