Hi there,
Any pointers towards getting a replacement dash mounted ignition switch for a 6v 1970 DAF 33?
Thank you very much!

Could just go with a standard universal ignition switch available at the factors Howard. It's not like the wheel mounted ones which might be hard to locate.

Well as John said, an aftermarket variety could be subbed.
If originality is the focus, then pictures of the assembly would help. I think it uses a Huf key which might lead us in a German direction.
Does the assembly look like two parts. Some ignition switches come in two pieces, the lock and the electrical switch. If it's just the electrical switch that is playing up, then it might be possible just to change that part.

I'm 99% sure my 31 uses a Huf key. Oddly enough so does my 66. Took me ages to find blanks but I eventually did find that Ilco made blanks for the Huf style keys. I'm a super purest, but I would even concede to an aftermarket ignition if I had to, as they often look pretty decent and work fine.
