Back in August I was lucky enough to be alerted to this Daf 66 which had been sat in a garage in Tunbridge Wells since 1997. I was the only person to contact them and I'm pleased to say I have saved it from the scrap yard. It's in the garage having some welding done to the floor on the drivers side seat mounts and the brakes freed off. Not bad for being stationary for almost 20 years. I have a diaphragm to do on it and it would probably be sensible to replace the belts, but I'm going to see how it goes first. I feel quite honoured to own two Dafs. Attachments:

First pic.......with the others, which also now include another 340 CVT Second pic...saving the day to get me to work on a cold February morning when the daily, (a manual Volvo 340) wouldn't start because I'd left the interior light on!! third pic....an afternoon drive out to Eastbourne. Parked up to go for a walk and came back an hour or two later to find an older couple reminiscing about the one they used to have!!
