Hi everyone who remembers me, haven't been involved with much Daf related work for a few years. My son and I still have the 33 Pick-up which is at present next door in my neighbours barn while my son continues his adventures on his Honda C90[he's in South America at the moment]. I suspect it will be a couple of years before he returns. In the meantime I need to finish my restoration of the Moggie 1000 van and the got the pick-up on the ramp for a good sort out and respray. Remember I am a Daf trained mechanic [although advancing years play up the old memory] and if I can help anyone drop me a personal message.Regards to you all.............................starider

I read his blogs and kid myself I am one day going to go on one of his organised trips, what an adventure that would be !!

Hi, Ed is definately a one off, right from an early age he was interested in things none of the teenagers my wife and I taught-[and that was thousands].His Grandad worked for GWR in Swindon and was a motorcycle fanatic.I have always been into motorcycles and as soon as Ed was old enough we bought him a Honda 125 and he went on from there! He quickly followed my love of the DAF and has had a 44 and now the 33 Pick-up[ideal for collecting his growing stock of c90s]. He couldn't get on the road soon enough, so when he was 16 he got a Provisional Licence and legally used one of my Fordson Major tractors to travel to and from his weekend job. That's Ed, we wouldn't want him any different!!..................starider
