Crumbs!! Yes I've seen them 220 odd euro. Plus 50 deposit!!, was hoping. There might be a good used one somewhere, failing. That I'd better start saving...

If you're going to fit a new one you'll also need to look at the hot-spot pipes from the exhaust resonator under the car. If the hot spot pipes have been cut off the manifold then they'll have been sealed on the exhaust too, as you'd have exhaust gases escaping into the engine bay otherwise. With the new manifold you'll have connections for the hot spot so you might need to replace these pipes too. The workshop manual shows how to do it & it's not difficult if you're a half-way decent DIY mechanic.
