Due to home circumstances I am having a major rethink so Gladys and Bruce as well as the daily dustbin are all for sale. The reason being that as my brother is now at home after his care home closing down we need a bigger car. Gladys does not have the space in the back so I will be getting one bigger car to replace all 3. Sophie on the other hand will be staying
Anyway I am asking £800 which I think is a fair price.
The good bits.
She has had a new exhaust system and clutch shoes within the last 2 years.
Her bodywork is very solid indeed. There is some surface rust showing here and there but no worrying rust at all.
Floor pans are clean as is boot floor.
She has done 45k from new which is genuine and has reams of history with her.
Her interior is suprisingly good for a DAF and only has one tear in the drivers seat. She has seat covers fitted.
All her wheel cylinders are new so she stops nicely.
She has an MOT till may 2012
Tax till June 2012
The not so good bits.
The paintwork is tatty and realistically she needs a respray.
Her engine has an oil leak which I believe is coming from the pushrod tubes.
She also has a tendency to stall when she is cold. I have replaced all her vaccum hoses and I hope this will have sorted that.
Her Dynamo is currently not working but I am looking to fit an alternator to her before she goes.
She will need some new solid brake lines soon as they where advised at the last MOT
I think its fair and I will miss her so she will only be going to a someone I think will look after her.
Paul
p.s. the last 2 pics are quite old but she really hasn't changed much since they where taken. If anything she looks better now. I will get some up to date photos when I can.
