Hi,where is everyone? either all our DAFs are still in hibernation[ours is], or running problem free. It would be interesting to hear what usage we are making of our cars. Our son is returning for a flying visit next month, so I'm sure I will get my instructions about the Pick-up[will let you all know]..........starider

The trouble is I am struggling to get a bit of time off work to do it. Also. both are currently covered in boxes of insulation as I am in the middle of insulating the garage aswell :-)) Why can't we stick to one thing at a time !!!

My 66 is awaiting a new set of sills from DAF Hobby and while waiting for them to be delivered, the car is being recommissioned for a pre 'MOT test'. Hopefully the sills won't reveal too much rot hidden by the outer sillls......

Hi, Social Media!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Luckily I have a life,I have never had the slightest interest in any of the social media sites. I have seen over recent years the effect they have had on children/teenagers lives, and the way parents lives are "ruled" by these sites. Hopefully in years to come their influence will diminish significantly and lives will return to some sort of normality........................starider

I have never had the slightest interest in any of the social media sites. Maybe it's where all the 33 vans are advertised Tony? It's all in how you use it. I'm sure that having quit FB in 2011, I've managed to save myself from buying loads of cars (and the attendant earache). Wish I could say the same of forums...they're a bad influence!

I must confess that I do use FB to look at the groups I am interested in like the Dutch DAF FB group and the Morris Minor LCVs group and one or two others. I am not into posting about myself nor interested in the social media interaction either! I prefer forum's myself but been told that it's old hat!?!
