Hi, everyone and everything is ok? One question: only when driving downhill, with the gas closed, there is a smell of petrol, I think it comes out of the carburetor, What will be the reason? In other situations there are no problems. tefano

It's possibly the petrol pump working too hard or/and a damaged seal on the fuel feed into the carburettor. Does the smell seem stronger when the petrol tank is full? If so, I suspect it may WELL be a damaged seal somewhere on the fuel line, particularly between the petrol pump and the carburettor.

Also, is the float valve in the carb completely closing when petrol is not required, as on the overrun ? After you next smell petrol, stop and look for leaking petrol starting at the top of the carb then fuel pump then going back along the fuel line.

As well as the above I suggest a careful inspection of the metal fuel pipe from the tank to the rubber pipe that joins to the fuel pump, and also check the tank from underneath and in the boot.
