Cheers Guys. It is good to know I have so many friends thinking of me in the DAF world and on FaceBook.
The entire episode was nerve wrecking, to say the least. Especially after all the losses from the last Hurricane only 14 months ago.

There's good news abrewing at DAF Central.... "JONAH" IS BACK...After being MIA for over 11 1/2 months my DAF transporter has returned from the dead and sporting a new 4 cylinder Turbo Diesel. All that is needed now is a good cleaning and to reseal the roof before Winter really sets in. It's feels good to have him back. ;D John

The new roof section has arrived for "Marilyn" so she will be going back to the body shop at the end of next week for a "haircut" John

A quick update..... Marilyn will be heading back to the body shop today to begin removing her battered roof section. I took some time to remove her rear hatch to make life easier for "Bondo Billie" Hopefully within a few days I'll have a full update with photos. Work on Postal Pete is at a standstill at the moment. I am hoping to drop his new motor in very soon but need a new Clutch Housing propshaft (the original had been cut off when the wanker tried to install an electric motor : (Item # 3 on the drawing-specific to the 44 models) Because it is for an 850cc (and a "B" body) it has to be different. . Of course, with my luck, I only have some spares for the 750cc motor in inventory. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that someone ( ) in the UK can free one from it's matrimony. John
