Does anyone know what is the fuel pipe connection at the tank? If so, does anyone have a spare or where would you get it? I dont have one, after the previous owner replaced the pipe, and left the both ends blank. I cant find what it is. It looks like a big brake connection, of about 11mm in pictures. The front is no problem, a rubber pipe to the fuel filter, but I am having a problem at the tank end. An alternative to the correct one is to drill it out, and tap in a new thread for a connection I do have, but I dont want to do that. I have to fit the tank when the connection is sorted.

You can post pictures by first opening "Reply" (as opposed to Quick Reply) then clicking on "Add Attachment" at the top right, then click on "+Add Files" in the opened window, then find the file it is in, open it, and then click on it in the window that then opens. This is the result:
This is Andrews Tank, is yours similar?

If only it was that easy..😄.. Photos on the phone, forum visits on the tablet..😕..
And then of course technology 😨😨😨😨...it's a miracle I'm this far..😁..
Same tank fitment as Andrew's..mine has an extra short rubber hose just after the tank connection but doesn't make a difference to Andrew's pic..

Its the bit that goes into the tank I am after. I need to identify the size (11mm?) and the thread pitch then (for example) Automec can supply a pipe-nut to suit. (Sent from my phone, I could have sent a pic, but they are all bigger than 1 MB allowed )

Not sure if this will be any help Robert..the nut end is 11mm but I'm afraid the nut has welded itself to the fuel tank so I couldn't release it to see the thread..

Found it !! It is 7/16 UNF. Got a length of 1/4in copper, with a flare, and a fitting from Automec, Can join to existing pipe with a short length of rubber petrol pipe. A 1/2 in AF spanner fits the flats.
