Since I did not partake of the Annual New Year's Eve merriment I was out in the Garage early today. Thanks to the Boys at Essex DAF I was able to make a few more advances. Matt & Pete...Thank you for the Ignition lock assembly, Type 1 Steering wheel (unfortunately, the center cap was from a type 2 and would not fit) as well as the ED window decal for Sandra. ;D ;D ;D ;D John

Glad to have been of help John. I'm sorry about the cap and am kicking myself now that we didn't pull out the caps and try some, we could have posted the correct cap before mailing the wheel. If you can show us a picture of the correct cap we'll have another look for you. At least Postal Pete is easier to move now! Glad to see the sticker in place. They do like to be warm before the backing sticker is removed so if you can get hold of a hairdryer then that will do the job nicely.

LOL...no problem Pete. Help from Essex is always welcomed, we have to stick together. "Postal Pete's" steering wheel is now unlock, unfortunately the Rack & Pinion now needs to be freed up since it has rusted solid in one position (I guess sitting outdoors so long did it in. ) so there is still no moving the beast without the dollies. Here is a photo of the original Type 1 Dash... If you happen to locate a center cap just let me know, I may collect it in person. John PS...If you have free International calling from your Mobile, mine is 802-681-6468 (Just got it for Xmas)

Cool! Will see if we have a cap like that one. Let us know should you need another steering rack (assuming of course that it's a stock 44 item).

Matt and I would not let that happen. @pete, The rack is pretty much the sam on the early B models as the models 30-33 so I have plenty in inventory here. Thanks for the offer. John
