Anyone else attending this show? I suspect that Joe and Sian probably are but we also intend to. The plan so far for us is to take 2 possibly 3 or with some luck even 4 exhibits. It would be really good if a few more DAFs could attend Dates are 18th and 19th of may at the Anglesey show ground not Henblas. My planned attendance is such. I will be driving the spitfire to the show and Mum is intending to go up in the pickup, on the back bed of which will be our 1940s Villiers engined Allen scythe and if complete (probably wont be) the mini steam traction engine. If I can persuade her there might even be a DAF on a trailer behind it.

Well...Holyhead, we've had a problem. We had a 6 birth caravan lined up for 4 of us, a bargain at £250 p/w. I phoned the owner tonight to book it, only to find its already been taken. She has a four birth cottage but that rents between £295 - £495 p/w...and I very much doubt Henblas is low season. Tried Travelodge but they are £44 pnpr. If anyone knows of somewhere cheap to stay on the island please let me know the details ASAP so we can book it...and no, camping is NOT an option for me - I've done my fair share at ED events and am fed up of feeling unwell after a night under canvas.

and am fed up of feeling unwell after a night under canvas. Ya shandy drinking southerner! Not if you saw me the day after the last day I was camping. Ill is an understatement. I lead the convoy to the secret nuclear bunker and once there I looked for the nearest hedge to vomit in Rich. Not fun. Still, replacement accommodation now booked which accounts for Matt and I attending.

Ill is an understatement. Man up boy and grow a pair. I guarantee it wasn't due to sleeping outdoors, more something dodgy that passed your lips. Does this mean you have a tent and airbed going cheap?
