Can some kind soul please advise of the dimensions of the 66 saloon carpet please. The one in mine is vile, utterly vile and will be replaced but I need to know how much carpet to buy. It is supplied in a 1.5 metre width and then on in metre lengths.
Cheers
Ken

Still here, haven't lost the faith. Lots going on but will try and get over to Central in a couple or 3 weeks hopefully. Sundays are not good for me re: getting away, but will try.

Well time for an update. It's been a while. Ena has been purchased and will be making her way to Hampshire (as far as I can recall) on the 16th December.

Whoops, it's actually the 15th that Ena moves on.
Pete, are you going to be there? I should be there around 10.15/10.30.

Well the deed is done. ENA has a new owner and will be in good hands. The new owner is called Panos and he is well willing to bring her up to scratch. Some photos to follow tomorrow.
Cheers to Matt for being a grand host as per usual.

Right, I can proudly announce that Ena is now in the safe* hands of yours truly.
I spent a lovely Sunday morning at DAF central, and was really pleased to meet Ken and Matt.
They strongly advised me to join the forum, and bribed me with tea and DAF paraphernalia, so here I am !
I will be starting a proper topic to share my DAF exploits when I have more than two continuous minutes in front of a PC, in the meantime I am sure than Ken has plenty of embarrassing pictures from last Sunday that he can share.

Helloooo! Not too many pictures to be honest, but surely enough to convey the shock, horror and dawning panic. Fabulous, welcome to the world of Daf. Panos turned up at ED on Sunday driving this: The smell of chips was somewhat alluring but perhaps that was down to my dodgy sense of smell. Viva veggie oil! This particular activity will be very familiar to all who have had contact with ED: First contact: and so a new life for Ena beckons. Matt is busy explaining the finer details of Daf quirkiness: Bit more: So that's what Ena's undercarriage looks like, not too shabby at all TBH. Job done and no Daf's were harmed in the process. Ohhhhhh shiiiiiiit, what have I just done? It was waaay too late by then heh heh heh.

Welcome to this forum Panos. She's a sound little car is Ena, and a great basis for a DAF project. She should be back on the road where she belongs without too much fettling. Do keep is informed of progress, there's some great help and advice on here when needed.
