Pete, can you remember the make of that airbed you had at ED1? I've got to get one in for visitors, but need to avoid one that so easily deflates ;D Ah yes, I remember that moment well... "Pete. You're deflating..." "Erm...gee, thanks!" "No, I mean your air bed!" ;D The key is to always inflate through the small bung (which has a tight fitting key) and leave the large'un well alone. Or better still, don't go camping...

While I remember, Pete, Lewis mentioned something about he thought he saw an oil drain plug missing on the Fergie (back axle I think). Any chance of taking a quick survey when you're down there next to see what things like that might be needed? I'm sure George will know his way round them well enough to help out and it'd make the chance of success a lot higher than if we find things like that on the weekend! Also, apparently the oil capacity (again back axle??) is something like 20 litres - has George got oil around by any chance?

Joe if you need any technical info I can ping my mate Geoff and ask him as he runs one of these as everyday transport (I kid you not)

Picked up a £5 stunt kite in Aldi yesterday on a whim but not sure I'll get a chance to use it in the next few weeks thanks to work piling up - needs to be clear by ED - and impending workshop move thanks to unhelpful landlord. So may have to paint it in Daf colours and bring it with me

Right then, I shall be burning various meat based products on the BBQ's again and I really do need to know of any vegetarianists who are planning on attending so I can buy accordingly.
If any kind soul would like to bring some tomato sauce, brown sauce and mustard in the squeezy bottles, that would be utterly fabulous.
Thanks
Ken

Good work Ken. I seem to remember you were BBQ king last year and the food was all well received. Joe, Matt spoke with FG yesterday and he said he'd order in anything needed for the Fergie before the event. We'll leave that to him as he knows his tractors better than we do.

Mmmmm, burnt meat offerings to the Goddess Barbie Q - sure to bring us good fortune for the weekend You're probably right about FG knowing what's needed, Pete, and best to leave him to that side of things. Not sure about the rest of you, but I'm happy to admit that tractor repairs are a little outside my comfort zone - but that's what makes it a challenge innit? ;D

Is it all mechanical stuff for the Fergie or does the tinware need some love?
