Hands off the Goggo! That's shit news that is. What happened to the van? I guess FG will accommodate the ladies and as for the men...well, anything more than a quick Jimmy Cash in the nearest tree will have to wait until Sunday's convoy...to the local Tesco's!

That is indeed shit news. Quickly buy up all of the local supplies of kaolin & morphine, that'll bung up the channel tunnel, never mind a few Daffers.

Taxi more or less all packed. Full tank of dizzle.
Have fizzy, have BBQs, have onions. Have cooler bag, have 'lecky cooler. Have power pack to run cooler.
Tomorrow am will see purchase of food products. Veggie options look a bit limited at Tesco. Will do my best. See you all tomorrow around 10/10:30.

Well Saturday was a productive day despite a significant amount of rain dumping itself upon our patch of Essex. The main focus was getting Farmer George's Fergie up and running and this was achieved by technical wizardry from Lewis, Super Joe and Nick et al. I last saw Lewis substituting tired Fergie wiring with less tired Daf wiring. Fabulous outcome and was very pleasing to see the smile on Farmer George's face. Burgers and sausages were consumed once the BBQ's had been 'asssisted' in lighting. The evening venture to the local hostelry was good fun and Lewis yet again reminded us all as to how poor he was at pool (yeah right). Taxi disgraced herself slightly by developing a leak from a poxy 1 1/2" ruber fuel pipe. Thankfully Matt had a suitable supply at his flat and after I had to sharpen his so called sharp knife, normal taxi service was resumed. Oh and ENA the 66 was given a much deserved wash (the rain was successfully employed to rinse the soap away). She looked MUCH better for having a little was and brush up.
All in all, it was a soggy but good day. Great to see familiar and new faces.
Most other Daffing will take place today but I sadly can't comment on that as I am sat at the desk in London.

Glad to hear its going well. Ive been working hard as well and have cleared the workshop ready for Sophie to enter tomorrow. To do that entailed fitting a new caliper to the pickup, letting a patch into the rear chassis member and waxoyling the underside. Then had a customer car in for a leaking pinion seal on its front differential which turned into a replacement of all seals in the diff, if anyone wants a how to I'll happily do one as it could be usefull for 46 and 66 owners . All done now so Sophie can get welded and have new engine mounts fitted tomorrow.

Nick, great to finally meet you and your lad. Did you take ENA's 8 track thing? I did ask Matt to remind you. It's a Marmite thing, I hate 'em.
