It is a shame that there is a pattern in the vinyl as a plain door card could be reproduced fairly easily with some non-rot/warp-free corrugated plastic sheet, 3M stick on chrome strip and suitable vinyl. Mind you, that looks pretty basic. If you knew someone with a sewing machine!!!!

Nice though Ken...but the "B" door cards are a lot different since they have a radical curve at the top which hooks in near the window. The old "A" type have never been a problem to re-produce here for me...all flat, new PVC backer, a little foam and new Vinyl covering.
I just got off the phone with Danny a little while ago and ... HE HAS TWO SLIGHTLY USED BLACK 55 COUPE' DOOR CARDS IN STOCK with my name on them. ;D ;D ;D ;D
I am a very happy DAFfer right now.

The Boot lock is perfect. I beleive it was just the right side DAF 66 Headlamp surround and some fastening clips for that. ...and yes, Pete has some e-Bay goodies to add to the "Care Package" John

Yes, the black Grille strips Matt. If you would like, (dumb question, I know) I can send you my "re-vamp kit" so your 55 Grille will look complete. Let me know.... John

I actually used authentic DAF parts to make the new Black strips...old Daffodil mouldings with new plastic clips. The only modification I had to make was to drill the mounting holes a little bigger for the clips. I will send you as set (Top & Bottom) for Yolanda in the Essex DAF Care Package. John

After installing a Dutch license plate on my RHD 55 I was given a hard time by certain owners in the USA as well as the UK. I have now given in and replaced the Dutch plate with SANDRA's original UK front plate. See...I do listen to other people (contrary to popular beleif) ;D John
