Tin rings? 12mm. Tell me more. They're like thin rings but on a sticky keyboard ;D All the local factors only seem to list the thicker (about 14mm diameter) rings but they won't fit in her mounts. The originals were 10mm I believe but I've squeezed 12mm in before when I managed to find some. The common 14mm ones are just too thick though! As for the fails, I suspect what he's doing is picking minor / imaginary things on my cars because he knows I'll just go away and do them without making a fuss (as long as they don't cost too much!), thus keeping his fail stats healthy

No, I've lost the ability to pronounce me h's ;D
But the question is, whilst the diameter of the material making up ring is 12mm/10mm whatever, how big is the actual ring?

Can't remember for sure but seem to remember about 36mm internal from Halfrauds was the last one that fitted ok.

Try a google search for Walker exhaust Joe. That is where I get mine from.
Not sure if they are available in the UK but can't see why not.

The're one of the biggest suppliers over here, John, but none of their stockists seem to admit the existence of anything for older cars in their catalogue

Thanks John, it's not listed in the Walker UK catalogue There's one listing on EBay international but they've got a fairly stupid $38 postage charge for international so I won't be buying there!

Stole an exhaust mount off Betty yesterday and Matilda is now legal for another year John, can you give an idea how much it would cost to get a dozen or so of those rubbers posted over please?
