Yes, bike batteries do tend to be rather diddy as they have to fit in confined spaces and there are weight issues too... I'm afraid it'll be a case of biting the bullet and getting the correct battery. I believe Matt can get them for about £67. Still not cheap but try finding cheaper.

That's a very good price to be honest, I tried looking and the best I could find was a wallet hurting £90 plus.
Yeah, I agree about the bike battery idea, shame it wouldn't work. Nice bit of lateral thinking though mate.

Spoke to Matt earlier to clear our planned arrival sometime on Thursday so, seeing as we'll have Friday spare, I'll have Snowdrop ready for a quick MOT when you arrive on Saturday, Ken. Best not come by taxi though - just in case

Joe, I was going to surprise Ken by sticking a Ghostbusters sticker in Snowstrop's windscreen but I've forgotten to order one - bum hats! Maybe I'll order one just in case, along with a Christine sticker and one for the bumper that says 'honk if you love Satan'... I still could on the offchance that you can't conquer her. Look forward to catching up weekend after next. I might have to chose one day though - which do you reckon is best? Rich is over on Sunday but if you're leaving that day then there's less spannering time. Perhaps I'll think out of the box and look at the weather forecast.

We're thinking of heading on to Norfolk on the Sunday - for the show that Lewis is doing and to visit Sian's gran who happens to live up that way. So Saturday (when Ken's there) would be a safer bet to catch up on. Seriously hoping to have Snowdrop up and running, with a definite diagnosis, by the time Ken gets there so all saturday will be available for spanners on other things (would be cool to get Vee fired up while we have a 6v battery there though )

All sounds good to me Joe! Was hoping that if I was able to pop back on Sunday then I'd come in Rover. All depends on timing I guess.
