couldnt resist and sent a pollite question asking if they were sure it was a 32 due to the above listed faults.....
signed it off "Nick (32 owner)
just checking but are you sure this is a 32? it seems to have a lot of the features of a 33 ? such as electric hill descent valve, twin jacking points, ignition lock on column rather than dash, other than that, good luck with the sale thanks Nick (32 owner)

Seats look like pukka 32 to me - same as 'Tilly's "round rod" gear lever (33 style) instead of "flat bar" (32 style) eta: I notice your question isn't showing up yet, Nick What exactly IS EBay's policy on selling ringers?

btw, at least 3 (or 4 depending how you count them) more to go, and one of them is clear as daylight shining through glass.... Better pics of it from 2011 available here dafcars.proboards.com/thread/1516 that show up a few more details.

Just spotted one i didn't last time pics turned up. Look closely at the bulkhead - there's a chassis number plate that appears to be rivetted on above the heater.
But Daf stamped the chassis number directly into the shell there on A bodies, NEVER on a removable plate. So that wouldn't be a bit cut out of the id-donor by any chance?

I was waiting for someone to notice that! I like to think of it as an incredibly upgraded 32 where someone has spent loads of time, money and effort changing all the features of a 1966 to make it look like a post-1972 DAF 33. You'd a least expect them to get the seats right!

Should it not have opening rear quarterlights, hinged from the B pillars?

Yes it should, Pete - along with stainless steel trims on the pillars to hide the hinges.
Next, for those who were there, think back to my party trick with Tilly at Lichfield.........

Hmm. Access to the belts through the back seat perhaps? But then again we wouldn't be able to tell from the photos provided...
