Hi, forgot to say I had found a brilliant fuse holder on-line. You just cut the cable where appropriate, feed the cut cable in each end, fold down and pinch the top half to the bottom[like a Scotch-Lock],fit the appropriate fuse, job sone!

Put the rear floor back in.Need to fabricate a new bulk head as original had been butchered. Once this has been done I really must get on with the rubbing down and priming, but still have loads to do around the farm first.

Hi, unable to work on the van at present, so much to do, need to cut logs for winter use,and have just installed a 22" extractor fan in my wifes polishing room to remove dust particles from her cutlery polishing machines. The biggest job was fitting trunking through our lean-too on the back of the barn, so it's all now up and running. Have to move the van next week so that I can put the wife's Connect van on the ramp and fit a new O/Side drive shaft. The rubber boot is leaking grease and it's less hassle to fit a new shaft than mess around with stripping down to fit new boots. I fitted new HT leads on the van, which I bought off ebay, they are well made, but a little too long. I did cotact the seller who said he gets the lengths from a Lucas Parts Catalogue, I did offer to send him a set of the correct length old leads but he declined.as I said the leads are well made but are a good 4+ inches too long.

You keep busy Tony..
Would have thought the e.bay seller would jump at some knowledge, guessing he doesn't sell enough to care..
Not forgotten about the bumper, need to sort a box out and get it off to you soon..

Still no progress, but managing to get the small holding sorted, many jobs done but the list is getting shorter. In the middle of building a new bigger chicken house, whilst dodging the rain trying to put a new roof on the conservatory,at least we have managed to felt and batten it,just need a few days to fit the latest metal cladding.Hope to give the van a run round the fields in the next couple of days. I need to get it off the ramp as Chris's van needs a new O/S drive shaft fitting. My son is fitting an electronic ignition kit to my BSA Bantam, which will then be put up for sale. I am waiting for 2 doors for the van to be delivered so I can at least drive it on the roads. At least it's in the dry ready for rubbing down.I recently purchased a 22" extractor fan to fit in the wall of the barn where I will spray it, to take out the spray mist.

Good news today,my son has decided to let me have the Pick-up back to put under cover to dry out. Once I've finished the van I'll refurbish the pick-up.He has too many "irons in the fire" and while it waits it's turn it's deteriorating, so I'll be collecting it next week.

Not sure what is going to face me, it hasn't been used for over nearly two years, I saw it when we visited his double decker bus home it looked reasonable from a distance but will collect on my trailer. It's only 20 miles away near Bideford. Will take some pics when I get it home.
